In 2013, the Cherry Tree website looked ok but just wasn’t converting bookings and sales. We pitched to redevelop it in 2013, but weren’t selected… However, just 3 months later, having invested several thousand pounds, they came back to us and asked if we would look at it again. That was the start of something big!
- Redesigned website to be responsive (works on every platform).
- We built new customer journeys that would convert into bookings and sales.
- Developed new social media presences across Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
Within 2 weeks, the Cherry Tree at Blackrod was breaking records for bookings and has never stopped since.
UPDATE: 10 years later – it’s 2023 and since then we have worked continuously with the Cherry Tree to deliver all of their marketing activity with amazing success. The website was redesigned again in 2016 and 2019 and the business has continued to grow and increase profitability throughout that time.
Together we have developed many channels across direct, digital and social media as well as developing their reputation online. The Cherry Tree is arguably one of the most successful restaurants in the north-west and even the UK over the last decade, as it’s popularity continues to grow with all generations of customer.
